Seminar Dynamical Systems

Summer Semester 2020

This seminar on Dynamical Systems is part of the module 10-MAT-MPDS1 in the International Master of Science Program "Mathematical Physics". The seminar language is English.

It is also part of the regular diploma study program of Mathematik and Wirtschaftsmathematik as a possible Fachseminar.

The seminar accompanies the lecture course Dynamical Systems

It will cover:

• Additional aspects of dynamical systems
• Extension of aspects from the lecture course
• Examples

Begin of the seminar is the second week of the regular teaching period: April 13, 2020.

Currently, until the ordinary teaching modus of the semester with physical presence and regular time slots has been reestablished, the seminar will take place in an online form.

The modus operandi will be BigBlueButton, an open source system of organizing online conferences with virtual rooms, white boards, etc, running on a safe local institute server. Requirements are one of the regular internet browsers Chrome or Firefox. (Unfortunately, there are some functional deficits with Safari)

Meeting days and time slots of the seminar: Will be negotiated and agreed upon among all interested participants.
