About me

Before coming to Leipzig, I was a postdoctoral fellow in Thomas Kahle's group at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.

I did my PhD in Mathematics at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences under the supervision of Jürgen Jost, and obtained my degree in May 2014 from Leipzig University.

Prior to that, I received an undergraduate degree in Physics from the Universidad de los Andes in March 2008. There, I wrote my undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Andres Reyes.

Research Interests

Geometric combinatorics and its relations to other fields, like algebraic combinatorics, commutative algebra, algebraic geometry.
