I'm a theoretical physicist and research assistant in the Numerical Mathematics and scientific computing group.

My last appointment was in the Computational Quantum Field Theory group of Wolfhard Janke.

My diploma thesis was about lattice gauge theory and my Ph.D. thesis about string theory. I have worked on the quantum Hall effect and (during a PostDoc year in the beautiful city of Durham) on solitons in sigma models.

More recently, I worked on high temperature series expansions and problems in quantum information theory.

I am also one of the administrators of the computer network of our Institute.
